I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Do Not Lie
You can’ t do the work of God genuinely without being born again and walk in the truth and righteousness of God. The work of God is for those who are ready to die to the carnality of these world. It is for those who have put on the spiritual garment and power of God. Lie, lying, and lied is a terrible things to do in the work of our God. It has affected and destroyed many areas in the gospel of the Lord. Many servants of God has put on these evil spirit to deceived many children of God, because of the invisible or visible predicaments they were facing. They have turned the gospel of the Lord into money making industry. They did not fear God anymore. They have tricked the children of God by the name of the Lord to collects money, houses, lands, wife, children, jobs, killings, rituals, and many more things from them. The Lord said, freely you have received and freely give Matthew 10:8. They are not obeying the word of God. They have taken the law of grace of God into their hands.
Apostle Paul was preaching and instructing the people of Romans just like the ordained and sent preachers are doing to us today, do not lying to the children of God. And let the truth word of God be filled in your mouth with the holy ghost and not be corrupted with lying of these world. Speak the truth word of God to the sons and daughters of God without manipulation. The Lord speak to the Pharisees and Scribes the truth word they could not bear, and they were offended. They believed they have known everything about God. The truth word of God always hurt. The Lord said they were like their father devil. For his will they will do and not the will of God. For he has been lying from the beginning of the world John 8:44. This is the remarks given by the Lord for those who wants to follow the doctrine of men imposed by their gods upon the children of God.
It is important for us to open our eyes and follow the truth word of God. Many wicked ministers are out there seeking for what they want to eat. The word of God, said, their belly is their god. They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, They brag about the carnality of this earth. They are not serving God, but their belly Philippians 3:19. The word of God said in the book of Matthew 7.21-22, that many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord we have prophesied in Your name. We have cast out demons and healed many people from their sickness and infirmities in Your name. And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness. That means their work are not real but fake.
What is lie?
Lie is false statement uttered for the purpose of deception. It is an intentional violation of truth. It is to mislead someone from the reality. It is that which deceives and disappoints confidence. It is an immoral design for seduction and destruction. It is to exhibit a false representation; to say or do that which deceives another, when he has a right to know the truth, or when morality requires a just representation.
There is nothing the Lord delighted in us than saying the truth to each other. He wants us to walk in the truth and refuse to shun every ungodly way from our lives. And He has commanded us to follow His example when He was with us on these earth.. This is the reason while the teachers and preachers of His chosen gospel was saying to us, to walk in the truth of the word of God. Anything apart from His truth is lie. The book of 3 John 1:3-4 said, For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. The Lord Jesus told the Father in the book of John 17:17 to sanctify us with His truth. For His word is truth. We have been told to do everything in truth. Anything apart from what the Lord has commanded is not from Him. We must do the work of God in truth regardless the situation that we may be facing. Speak the truth word of God and shun every false way.
Do not lie to your church members , community, and your nation. Do not lie to your marriage and business. Do not lie to your children and your wife. Do not lie to your neighbor. Do not lie to defraud anyone in the name of God. It is a sin after we have born again. Do not follow the way of the world. Let your way please God and His people. Always follow what is righteous, holiness, and faithful. Let the good gospel of God that has been committed into your hand be full of truth and nothing but the truth. For this is the purpose we were all born into this world James 1:18. Anything that is not of the truth is not from the Father of light. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:6-7. The truth word of God always cleanse us from our sins. But lie is always lead us to condemnation and destruction. Let’s our Yes be Yes and our No be No. Say big No to lie and his originator. Say No to the father of lie.
Cogitate:
There are few things we must acquire in this scripture:
- Lie is a destroyer and killer to our lives and destiny.
- Lie is a glory destroyer.
- Lie take us away from the presence of God. It make us untrustworthy in the eyes of God and man.
- Lie reduce the integrity and confidence of man.
- Lie bring death to us. It takes good things from us and replace it with the fake and temporary one.
- Lie bring immorality and destruction into our family home. It causes breakages in our relationship. It brings insecurity in the marriage union.
- Lie is a thief to steal the purpose of God in our lives.
Confession Prayers
- Powers stealing from me, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers, closing the gate of fruitfulness against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power behind my problems, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power assigned to kill my destiny, your cup of iniquity is full, die, in the name of Jesus.
- Angelic carpenters, break up the horns that is opposing my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
- Serpent of God, Lord Jesus Christ, appear, swallow every serpent of lie and death assigned against me, in the name of Jesus.
