Daily Scripture: Romans 11:27 KJV

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

No More Salacious

No more sin! No more sin! No more sin! The Lord said, this is my covenant with the people of Israel when I take away their sin. This is to remind us about the message that was given in the book of Ezekiel chapter 36:25-27. The Lord said, I will sprinkle clean water on them, and they shall be clean; I will cleanse them from all their filthiness and idols. I will give  them a new heart and put a new spirit within them; I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.  I will put My Spirit within them and cause them to walk in My statutes, and they will keep My judgments and do them. This means the Lord knows the mature time to wipe away our sin completely from us. Does it mean also that  God can retain  or postpone our sins  for many years to come? No.  That is not what the Lord means! The Lord said,  I have sent my son to take away the sin of the Israel away, and anyone  who believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16. I have sent my Son to take away their sin and give them a brand new spirit of the holy ghost.

Apostle Paul was reminding us concerning about the promise which the  Lord was made through the book of Ezekiel, to brings His fruitful changes to the whole nation of Israel. This is the reason why the Lord was telling that that He was sent to change their unrighteous way to the best desired of God. But they did not listen to Him. They were looking at the carnality which was born producing Him.  They were looking at the foundational genealogical  background of our Lord Jesus Christ to summit to His commandment. The power of sin has been conquered and destroyed by our Lord Jesus Christ. What the  children of Israel needed is just to confess their sin to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal saviour, and receive the new covenant in His  blood  which He has shed for the remission of all our sins. This is what will take their sin to be wipe away according to the book of Romans 10: 8-10. The Lord has died for their sin and the sin of the whole world.  The Father has made Him to be propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world 1 John 2:2. The Lord is just waiting for those He has chosen to do their works and reach onto them.  And the Lord will fill them with the Holy ghost as a  part of His promise to cleanse them and wipe off every filthiness in their lives.

When the Apostle Peter was preaching to the people of Israel after the mysteries of the day of Pentecost, the word of the Lord prickled their heart and they surrendered  their lives to the Lord and repented from their sin. When the Lord has finally touched them according to the book of Ezekiel chapter 36:25-27, the people asked the Apostles what they should do after they have listened to the message of the Lord and their heart has been cut off? The Apostle arranged for them to be baptized with water. When the word of the Lord prickled your heart, just like He did in the book of Acts 2:37-38,  the holy spirit of God inside you will change your life completely. What Apostle Paul is saying to us to here know was that the promised of God has been fulfilled in the life of the people of Israel. What is remaining for them is to enjoy the salvation and redemption power the Lord Jesus has brought to them through the word of faith.  The old  testament law cannot cleanse their sins completely. It is only the blood of Jesus which can cleanse and purify us from all the filthiness in our lives. The heart that is filled with the holy ghost does not sin, because the spirit of the Lord dwell in us 1 John 3:6. This is the reason why the hearts of the listeners when Apostle Peter was preaching was prickled? Their hearts was touched and changed. The old hearts was taken out and the new heart of the Lord came in. They did not what to committed sin anymore. The began to asked Apostle Peter what are they going to do now?  The rest of the Apostles have to supported  them to fulfilled  the way of holiness and righteous in their lives. The children of God get together and begin to share their blessings with each other. No one have authority over their possessions.   They were all glad that God has forgiven their sins.

The Acts of Apostle chapter four verse  thirty-one told us they were all filled afresh with  the power of Holy ghost, when they were all praying together with one love and accord. This include all those that has been prickled in the hearts, and God gave them the power of the Holy Ghost  to continue together in fellowship with Him. When the Lord forgive your sin, the heaven will respond with unimaginable blessings over your life.

 Cogitate:

There are few things we must acquire in this scripture:

  • Repent from all known and unknown sin. Confess every sin you know and the one you have secretly done that you think no one has seen you. The Lord God see you.
  • Flee from every appearance of sin.
  • Do not go back to your sin again after you have confessed them to the Lord.
  • Live the life of holiness and righteousness.
  • Ask the Lord to fill you with power and fire of the holy Ghost.
  • Soak your life with the word of God. Let the word of God be in your heart always. Study the word of God and apply it to your situation. Meditate on it day and night.
  • Forgive others people who have sinned against you. Let the joy, peace, and love of God dwell richly in you

Prayer

  • O Lord, forgive my sin, in the name of Jesus.
  • Father, circumcise my heart with your word and fire, in the name of Jesus.
  • Father, remould me and shape my life according to how you have destined my life to become in your kingdom, in the name of Jesus.
  • O Lord help me to walk in your righteousness and holiness, in the name of Jesus.
  • O Lord my God, restore me to the original you have created me, in the name of Jesus.
  • Blood of Jesus, wash and cleanse away every inherited sin in my father and mother generation, in the name of Jesus.
  • .Every arrow of sin fired  into my body, die, in the name of Jesus.

                                            Today’s Blessing

I pray today, 23 August 2021, that the Lord Jesus will take away sin that hinder your life and family,  in the name of Jesus. The Lord will give you brand new life full of power and fire, destroy all the spiritual lions and scorpions delegated against you, shall sing a new song and dance a new dance in this month of August, in Jesus name. The Lord will shine His face and glory upon and your family, in the name Jesus. May the grace and the spirit of our Lord Jesus be rest upon you, in Jesus name.
