1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Pray for Your Nation
Many of us are selfish and greedy when it is divinely necessary to pray for our nations. We don’t care whatever may happen to her. We ignored the viable announcement because we are not getting the full blessings of our nation. We don’t think it is necessary for us to do so. We believed the leaders of our nations should carry on with their governance whether it is okay or not. This is very bad and wrong decision that can put our nation into chaos and destruction. When the famous two nations Sodom and Gomorrah we have read, heard, and boldly teaches in our sermons, and how they have sinned against the Lord with all kind of immorality, The Lord sent His angels to destroyed these two nations He has created with His own hands and power. When Father Abraham heard from these two angels that they were sent for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, he did not keep quiet. But he went to the Lord on their behalf as a servant and father of all nations to interceded in prayer for mercies and grace. The Lord could not found one righteous person in this nations. The mercies and grace of God elude them. They were destroyed for lack of prayer and intercessors in their nations. The prayer of father Abraham could have averted the divine judgement of God upon their lives. The angels set on the mission did not refrained to performed the assignment the Lord has sent them. The two nations were set ablaze and destroyed.
Have you ever think that you are living in one of those Sodom and Gomorrah in these dispensation that Grace has made for us. Our nations are still continuing in their immorality, adultery, fornication, idolatry, murdering, unbelieving, covetousness, hatred, anger, sorcery, and sodomite. Are you ready to pray and interceding on behalf of these nations and save their lives from destruction? This is the purpose you have been born again. The Lord has saved your life and He wants you to safe the life of others from destruction. The journey we are set to embark and live in these world is too short to relax, and waste the divine opportunity that has been given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Remember how the sons of perdition are invading your brother nations, and set the churches of God ablaze with fire, killed servants of God, and children of God. They hate their God’s and destroyed them. What are you still doing to ignore the voice of God calling you to pray for the life of your fellow brethren to be saved in Jesus Christ.
Don’t be like prophet of God that we read and makes fun at times when we did not know the holy scripture about the evil he has done. We were taught when I was a little boy how fish swallowed him up in the sea. They did not told us the full details about it. But the main thing we were told is to obey God and not disobeying Him. The Lord sent Prophet Jonah to go and warned His people in Nineveh against destruction awaiting for them. He refused to obey the instructions of the Lord, and take the law into his own hands. He believed he is more righteous than them. The Lord did not do anything to Prophet Jonah than to show His power as a great potter and who is a clay? The Lord made him to know he is nobody for disobeying His order. The Lord sent fish to swallowed him up, and also made the life difficult for those that was on board with him until he pleaded for God mercy.
It is an evil to disobey the Father that has created you when you are nothing. Prophet Jonah repented and the Lord has mercy upon him. And he went ahead to delivered the message of the Lord, and the people of Nineveh was saved from the Lord God calamity that may have be fallen upon them. I and you are like these prophet Jonah today. Are you ready to pray and safe the life of the people in your nation. The 5 to 30 minutes you will spare to intercede upon the nations of God can save them from destruction.
Oh Brother Emmanuel I am not a servant of God to do that. I am just a born again in Christ Jesus. The spirit of God is upon you. The holy spirit is waiting for your prayer to use the gift He has deposited in you for the purpose you have created. It is your time to save your nation with your prayers. The prayer for your nation is not for the pastor or prophet or the chosen people in fivefold position alone. It is for everybody. The Lord has made everyone as an evangelist to do His work. The position is number three in five folds ministry for exhortation the gospel of the Lord. It is higher than pastor and teacher in the hierarchy. Let us pray for our nation to change from evil to good. Let us pray for our brothers and sisters in our nations to be saved. The salvation and redemption message is not to hide or hoarding from one another. It is for us to be saved together.

- Do not ignore to pray for your nation. Your nation need you to intercede for her.
- There is no amount of prayer that is too small. Every little time you spend everyday to pray for your nation will bring. Joy, love, and peace of God to them.
- Our prayer will save many people who have not given their lives to God. It will transform them and change their wayward of lives.
- The Lord will also acted on your behalf to listen to your prayer and divert every possible of destruction awaiting for them.
- The Lord will also use you to do many great exploiting for the nations. The Lord will use you to rewrite your generation and nation history.
- The Lord will save His nations from destruction into obedient. He will love them as He did to woman of Samaritan. He will bring His love and power to them and also reconcile them to Him.
Confession Prayers
- Father, I confess all the sin and iniquities of your nations committed through violence, idolatry, corruption, injustice, bitterness, rebellions rejection of God, shedding of innocent blood,, conspiracy, kidnapping and murder, occultism, tribal conflicts, bloody riots, pogroms, robbery, of our ancestors, leaders and your people, be forgiven and wipe out by your blood, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, remember your nations and redeem it, , in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, save your nations from destruction and judgement, in the name of Jesus.
- I plead mercy and forgiveness for your nations, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let all forces of darkness hindering the move of God upon your nations, be clear away, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I command all the spiritual strongman in charge of your nations to be bound and be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let the glory of your nations that has departed be restored, in the name of Jesus.
