Daily Scripture: Romans 8:38 KJV
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
He Is Everything To Me
Who can separate us from the love of Christ in Jesus? There is nothing that can separate us from who believe in Him. He has made everything for us. He has destroyed and overcame the power of sin for us. He has defeated and swallowed death in victory. He has rendered the power of grave useless. He demonstrated His authority over death continuously in His gospel ministry. He wants us to follow the foundation and example He has laid down for us. The power of death, grave and hell have no power over us anymore. He has collected all the keys and everything the Satan had stolen from us. He has stripped him off the power of hell and everything he has stolen away from the Father while in heaven and earth. He has given to us the eternal freedom without laboring for it anymore. He has brought the ministry of reconciliation to us with the Father. He has majestically reconciled all the creation to the Almighty Father.
The Lord has done great things, I mean great things for us. He has given us everything we needed to fellowship with Him. He has taken us from the darkness into His marvelous light who have no hope in these world before. He has put Satan on the run for us. He has given us the name that is above every other names. He has shed His precious blood for the sacrifice and atonement for our sins. What else did you need again that He has not done for you and me. He has told us to carry our cross and follow Him. It is your turn to follow him with all your heart and do those things that He has commanded us to do for Him. He told us to love Him with all our hearts, mind, soul, body, and do all those things that please Him. He has given us authority to trample upon serpents and scorpions and all the power of enemy and nothing by any means hurt us Luke 10:19. He has given us power and authority over all our enemies.
You can imagine how deadly our opposition is trying to stop the work of God when Paul was sent to Rome. Apostle Paul was not imprisoned by the evil plans of the enemies. The Lord turned the plans and agenda of the enemies to blown to their faces. The enemies trying all their possible best to imprisioned him, but yet the Lord continue to saved him from all the harassments and persecution that was planned against him. The Lord used him to ministered to the presiding judges and all the Jewish people that persecuted him. They wanted to killed him by all means but instead to die, he was preaching the gospel to them in the court. The favour of God located him in the prison and delivered him from the chain of persecution and peril. The Satan did not give up on him. He sent viper to bite him and yet he was still living and nothing happened to him. He did not died but saved from all the attack of the enemies. He was doing the will of the Father that sent him.
Are we ready to love Him and do His will upon us ? Who can persuaded you to deny your God that created you in His image and likeness? No kind of suffering , tribulation, distress or nakedness, peril, hardship or persecution can separate you and me for the love He has given to us unconditionally. He changed and blessed the life of Job than what He had given him before. He prolonged his years on the earth and put His fresh everlasting smile on his face. He gave him beautiful children and disgraced Satan words against him. Will you deny your God when the tribulation and persecution of this world come upon you? Will you abscond from fellowship with him because of your hardship and suffering? Jesus loves you, and He has paid the price no one can pay for your death. Continue to love Him, and love Him, and love Him forever.
Cogitate:
There are few things we must acquire in this scripture:
- Love your God with all your heart ,soul and body
- Do not let anything or anyone come between you and your God. Serve Him with all the power and strength He has given to you.
- Obey the instruction and commandments of the Lord.
- Do not be entice by the lust of this world. It is temporary and not permanent.
- Crucify your flesh to the lustful materials of this world.
- Do not follow satanic deceiving agents. Listen to the voice of your God. And let His word be ringing always in your heart.
- Follow the word of God and meditate on it.
Confession Prayers
- O Lord command your light to shine in my darkness, in the name of Jesus.
- Angels of the living God, pursue my pursuers, in the name of Jesus.
- O God rearrange my life for greater success, in the name of Jesus.
- Angels of God, gather your arrows and attack my problems, in the name of Jesus.
- Every wicked agenda for my lie, I bury you today, in the name of Jesus.
- Poison of serpents and scorpions, come out of my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Any power that want me dead shall die in my place, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power that has confined to the tunnel of backwardness,, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
